Description
Grown in Dalefoot Bulb Compost this is a stunning allium bearing large, rounded heads of deep violet, star-shaped flowers, on tall sturdy stems. It’s perfect for growing in drifts or large clumps in a sunny border, or large container, and makes an impressive cut flower.
The foliage can look a bit bedraggled just before flowering, so plant amongst other plants so the stunning flower head can rise above. Feed in spring to achieve the largest flower possible.
Likes any fertile, well-drained soil in full sun.
