Lavandula stoechas

French Lavender

A lovely variety of lavender with a dwarf habit and aromatic narrow grey-green leaves.  Blackish-purple flowers with purple bracts are produced in spring and summer.  Great for bees and butterflies.

Likes any well drained soil in full sun, but prefers a sheltered position.

Cut back after flowering but not into the hard wood, and a further show of flowers will be produced later in the season.

Height 50-100cm x Spread 50-100cm
