Description
A sensational plant for the garden, bog garden or as a pond marginal plant. Just gets better year on year, producing striking crimson red foliage – a feature in itself, then from July to September stunning spikes of crimson red flowers standing 2 – 3 feet tall.
Perfect for the open border, either planted as single specimens or on mass. And because they do well in wetter soils they are ideal for pond side or bog garden planting. Also makes an excellent cut flower.
Prefers a moist, poorly drained soil in full sun, will tolerate some shade.
