Rigidus is an evergreen bushy shrub with fine narrow dark green leaves. Bright deep red flower spikes resembling a bottle brush appear throughout the summer months.
Can be trained into an unusual standard tree.
Prefers a moist but well drained soil in a sheltered position in full sun. Likes an acid to neutral soil.
