A clump-forming erect perennial with tall spikes of star-shaped purple-pink flowers from early to late summer.
Flowers June to September. Very attractive to bees and butterflies. Hardy.
Grow in moist soil in full sun. Water frequently in dry weather and cut back old growth in spring. Divide clumps every three to five years.
