A lovely scented perennial with large white and pink-tinged flowers from June to September. Plants form a mound of leaves, followed by sweet-scented flowers, which open in the afternoon and evening, all summer from June to September/October. Flowers emerge white and age into pale pink.
Work well in borders, near paths and seating areas where the scent can be enjoyed. Pollinators love these plants. Plants are drought tolerant once established and tolerate coastal sites.
Cut plants back hard in autumn once they have finished flowering. Plants self-seed in the right conditions. Can be short lived.
Likes any poor to moderately fertile soil in full sun or partial part shade.
Height 30-50cm x Spread 20-40cm.
