Description
A front of the border gem, this verbena has masses of flat-topped vibrant purple flowers held above the rich green leaves.
Its growing habit makes it fantastic for planting in great swathes and softening the edges of borders. It will also self-seed, and makes a great addition t0 sunny gravel gardens and wildlife gardens. Very attractive to bees, beneficial insects, butterflies/moths and other pollinators.
Likes any moist, well-drained soil in full sun.
It’s not fully hardy, so grow it in well-drained soil and avoid excessive winter wet to help ensure it returns each year.
